First you need to download the Spring engine to play on this map.

Maps are ".sd7" or ".sdz" files. To install this files move them into (Unix) ~/.spring/maps
or (Windows) "My Documents\My Games\Spring\Maps".
Use the "Reload maps/games" option from the "Tools" menu in SpringLobby.

MetalHeck V3.3

 

Here it is OTA MetalHeck map : « Fight the metal cross region. »
1v1 to 3v3 team player map, also 4x FFA map. Tested with BA / BAR and Chicken Defense MOD too.
Metal is +2,3 everywhere, radius = 20.

***23/03/2015*** V2.5
First release from my own, I will finish it in few days :
1. All manholes with their respectives GeoThermal !
2. Original metal extraction to 2,3 (Radius 20),
3. Top textures of small hills are the same,
4. Original Map texture is the same.

***05/04/2015*** V3.0
- Original metal objects placed,
- Specular added,
- GeoPosition fixes.

- New starting points (more in corner) => Thx to Jonnny5's suggestion.
- Seems this version fixes the following warning message from V3.0 when game starts :
[f=0000000] Warning: [DESYNC WARNING] path-checksum 7b98b168 for player 1 (***********) does not match local checksum b8e2122b; stale PathEstimator-cache?

***12/04/2015*** V3.2
- FIX : Thanks to BattleBear regards to max wind speed value too high =  OTA max wind is 15. Fixed.

***23/04/2016*** V3.3 :
- Add a space skybox, thanks to.... ? That made it,
- Remake texture map for a better map ambiance like a factory / warehouse / metal ambiance,
- Add a DNTS (Detail Normal Texture Splatting) !  Review of SpecularTex, Add a SplatDetailTex + SplatDistrTex (Spring 101 at least required for those special effects working),
- 3D Objects a little bigger, and remake of Pïpe1.0,
- Explosions generate less hills,
- New screenshots !
- Various littles fixes related to map version declarations and link to smf file {abma},
- Thanks to Beherith for file sources usually for BlockWars.
